Sideboard

Maybeboard

First description like this, so if it's any good please upvote! :) Also please suggest any ideas you have. This was originally R/W/G but went to R/G as it is more consitent, and only felt the changes in sideboard. Anyways, thanks for checking out this homebrew! Here we go.Creatures:

One Drops: Haven't found anything that feels right, if you have thoughts or suggestions please comment.

Two Drops:

Drover of the Mighty serves as both a mana dork, and a solid body beater later in the game. Running 8 dinosaurs means that he will usually be a 3/3 by turn 5 at least.

Channeler Initiate also serves as early game ramp, which by turn 5 can be a solid bodied beater. Less to be said here, its just a very solid card in my opinion.

Possibles: Suggestions? Maybe the Khenras?

Three Drops:

Rishkar, Peema Renegade has been an interesting card to play around with. I have fluxuated between 1-3 copies, and it seems best as a one of. Its pretty sweat to get even more dorks, or just some extra power, but with any X-spells or any super costly creatures, we cap at 6, it just doesn't feel productive in game.

Combat Celebrant has been on and off as well. Getting even only one extra combat phase has been incredible, yet without haste, he often ends up dead by the time its time for him to swing. Still Running two but if there are better three drops you have in mind, please let me know.

Captain Lannery Storm is pretty dang sweet. She is under curve, but gets extra mana if she reaches combat, and she has haste so that means the same turn she is played. Due to her lower power/toughness she is sometimes not viewed as a threat, but the additional treasures seem to really help speed through to some bigger threats.

Possibles:

Rhonas the Indomitable is pretty strong, and I have been debating pretty hard whether to keep him out, or replace two other 3 drops.

Prowling Serpopard is in the sideboard, as it's true value shines against control. Probably not going mainboard unless my local meta shifts with Zendikar and Innistrad cycling out.

Rampaging Ferocidon I'm just not sure about... Maybe against Ramunap Red it would be good? Just seems like a dead card against vehicles and control.

Four Drops:

Ripjaw raptor is pretty damn sweet. Either take four or let me draw a card? Thank you. For real though it's pretty much the only card draw we have, which is an issue, but also a 4/5 turn 3 or 4. Overall just a solid four drop.

Possibles:

Waker of the Wilds is interesting, as it provides a place to dump our large amounts of mana late game. However it just doesnt do enough the first turns it comes out.

Hazoret the Fervent is a staple, but hopefully our hand will never be empty. It may be worth testing, but it just seems counter intuetive.

Vizier of the Menagerie is super tempting, and was in the original build, but feels a bit clunky. Not sure about this one.

Five Drops: Hoping to get these out turn 4, so bringing the most impactful cards avalible

regisaur alpha is the reason I put this together, it just seems crazy good. I may be mistaken, and in that case it'll be switched out, but super excited to take a deck built around it to fnm.

Glorybringer, if you haven't heard of it, then you haven't heard of ramunap red, which means you don't play standard, so why are you here? Just kidding, this card is a power house, bring 4 power the turn it comes out, and the ability to remove an opponents creature. I'll take it.

Possibles:

Verdurous Gearhulk is basically next in line if one of the others doesn't perform. Its just very strong for potentially turn 4.

Instants:

Abrade is great removal, dealing with early threats or random gearhulks.

Blossoming Defense serves as some protection from targeted removal, also considering replacing it with Heroic Intervention, at just running both. Again, this will depend on my local meta.

Sorceries:

Attune with Aether tutors up lands, however might be dropping it soon for some better form of ramp. The deck was three colours, with white, so it was much more essential. Also lack a use for energy as I dropped Aether Hub

Rishkar's Expertise is our only card draw outside of Ripjaw raptor . Only running 1, but may go up due to the abundance of mana we have later in the game. Also drawing into a Glorybringer or regisaur alpha and playing it right away would be pretty sweet.

Planeswalkers:

Samut, the Tested is pretty sweet. Especially if she gets to ult. However having double strike on Glorybringer really hurts.

Chandra, Torch of Defiance is just the best planeswalker in the colours. Ramps (+1), gas (+1), removal (-3), and game ending damage (-7).

Possibles:Nissa, Vital Force is an option, I just don't feel like it's good enough.
