Sideboard

Updated(In progress): Closing in on the final version of this deck it does reasonably well against the field and even against its poorer match-ups the ability to go infinite in so many ways often means you'll "just win"

Synergies:

Presence of Gond + Midnight Guard OR Devoted Druid w/ Sigil of the Nayan Gods attached for infinite creatures. If infinite creatures isn't enough add an Essence Warden, Birchlore Rangers , Distant Melody and/or Priest of Titania for life/mana/draw. This is the main combo of the deck. With Birchlore Rangers and a Nettle Sentinel this can be active turn 3 (see below):

T1: Forest, Nettle SentinelT2: Plains, Birchlore Rangers , Devoted Driud T3: Forest, Sigil of the Nayan Gods , Presence of Gond -->

The sprout swarms have been replaced with Lys Alana Huntsmaster, I found the Sprout Swarms to be used more defensively and tangentially to the purpose of the deck. They often delayed losing more often than providing a win. Lyn changes that, the elf tokens providing to wins and more synergy with the deck while still providing the defensive uses that swarm provided.

Mana Production: If I could run >4 Birchlore Rangers and >4 Nettle Sentinels I would. Hell, I'm pretty sure 15 Birchlore Rangers, 15 Nettle Sentinels, 5 Rancors, 10 Distant Melody, and 15 Forest would be an awesome deck. Priest of Titania will either draw a removal spell out (protecting the combo) or will get out of control.

Consider this:

Copperhorn Scout - This guy at his worst gives other attackers vigilence. Other times he doubles our mana, allows us to spam elves and attack.

About Ulamog's even though the mana production was significant to get them out consistently on turn 4-5 they ended up being lackluster. Often meeting removal or being chump blocked. I've replaced them with Timberwatch Elf, it comes out early and is just as deadly unanswered. However, they make any elf a threat while making chump blocking less of a possibility.

Will continue to update mentioning other cards in the deck and cards considered but not included. Will try to do some match-up related analysis. Will also discuss sideboard which is a work in progress. Finally, once I get some 2-mans recorded I'll write an article and hopefully get it published on a MTG website.

Comment on the deck! I find that when I have to explain card choices or answer comments on my decks I can flush the ideas out more. I'll be running this deck on MTGO over the holiday next week but questions and comment are always appreciated!
