Dragons are one of my favorite tribes and what is better than casting an awesome dragon than getting two for the price of one!?!? Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm is a popular commander for a reason and this is my version of a deck with Miirym leading her myriad of dragons to victory!!! Any suggestions, comments, or feedback is always welcome as I love to hear other's thoughts on a deck and card selections.

{U}{R}{G} Ramp or Deck Acceleration {G}{R}{U}

Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm is an absolute force when on the board but getting out her is not trivial. Then after getting her out, you then have to either cast/cheat your dragons into play so having mana to burn is definitely needed for this deck to run smoothly. Below are the cards I identified as either filling a ramp or "acceleration" role in the deck but letting me get out Miirym out quick or her myriad of dragons. You may notice some cards fill multiple roles.

With all the ways to generate additional mana or lower the cost of creatures, having the ability to keep cards in the hand in crucial to fuel Miirym. Luckily with the inclusion of {U} in our colors, draw is something this deck is pretty good at!!!

Few things are more satisfying than seeing your opponents tremble when you drop a Old Gnawbone and getting an extra copy of it for free although that is not possible without have an ace or two up our sleeve to protect our dragons from those that would do them harm.

{U}{R}{G} Recent Edits {G}{R}{U}

A recollection of recent changes and the logic behind those choices...

1. Rishkar's Expertise for Triumph of the Hordes - Triumph of the Hordes is a great card but I am finding in this deck it is not needed to close out games. However, keeping cards in hand is absolutely needed and Rishkar's Expertise is a great {G} draw card with the plus side of playing a card to boot.

2. Parallel Lives for Strionic Resonator - Given the main purpose of this deck, Strionic Resonator is a bit more versatile in terms of what it can do but Parallel Lives is the better token production engine.

3. Titan of Littjara for Shimmer Dragon - Shimmer Dragon was included in the deck for draw purposes; however, Titan of Littjara counts as a dragon and can produce much more consistent draw potential.
