The deck is built to stall a little and Mill to give bonuses to Consuming Aberration, Jace's Phantasm, and Wight of Precinct Six. Milling isn't only a small benefactor for this deck though, it is also the secondary win con.
Win Con/Card Breakdown
Consuming Aberration - fairly obvious, he is both the huge body that will decimate my opponents board or the slowly, but surely death by mill
Jace, Memory Adept - THE mill planeswalker, 10 a turn is insane
Mirko Vosk, Mind Drinker - standard deck has about 22-24 land, one hit and that's down by at least a sixth, plus evasion
Mind Grind - very useful for when you have tons of mana to spend, great late game finisher
