This is my go at an Izzet mill deck. General game plan is to cast counter/removal/damage creature spells early game, put down the creatures with the copy spell abilities, then mill someone's whole deck in one or two turns with the mill spells and copying them (e.g. Echo Mage + Tome Scour , or Battle Hymn + Talrand, Sky Summoner + Izzet Guildmage + Mind Sculpt ). Also Talrand + Howl of the Horde + Mind Sculpt . Got the idea when I was playing my limited mill deck (limited because of how many cards I actually own) and noticed how brutal it was to copy a mill spell more than once.

I initially tried to do it without Sphinx's Tutelage, and there were times when it sort of worked, but obviously it's much better with, having synergy with Enclave Cryptologist , Izzet Charm and Nivix Guildmage, Crippling Chill and Brainstorm.

The combo of Izzet Guildmage Training Grounds is, I believe, very strong when I cast one of my spells be it for mill or removal purposes. Or just to draw more cards and hopefully trigger Sphinx's tutelage.
