This is the first deck I have taken to FNM i took it on 10/12/13 and I played 5 other decks won 1 out the 5.
Game 1: Played an artifact deck and went 0-2, i don't even know what happened first game I lost i started milling with
Breaking
, then he he got Elixir of Immortality and his graveyard went back into his library so milling wasn't working and couldn't get any creatures out long enough to do damage and was extorted to death. Talk about Fun. Next game against him went a little better got an however he kept gaining life and reshuffling his graveyard into library and i was killed by
Haunted Plate Mail
.
Game 2: Went 1-2 against a red green deck splashed with black. First game, he got a Stormbreath Dragon on turn 3 I Doom Bladed it on turn four, and milled him for 8 turn 5 i got a Desecration Demon out and he had no answer. Game 2 Deathrite Shaman this thing destroyed me couldn't doom blade it couldn't bounce it because it was only 1 mana and i couldn't get him to sacrifice it because he had other 1 mana creatures on field lost this way both games. by Deathrite Shaman exiling my instants and sorcery's and then Stormbreath Dragon finishing the job
Game 3: Played a mono red deck went 0-2, Basically
Rakdos Cackler
and Fanatic of Mogis killed me by the time Fanatic came out he had like 3 other creatures and Fanatic did 8 damage to me and just finished the job.
Game 4: Played Mono White went 2-1, Was a Human deck, Game 1 I won by milling him and sending in a Consuming Aberration for 30+ damage. Game 2 he had a bunch of 1/1's that grew to flying 3/3's that bleed me to death. Game 3 milled his whole library and won.
Game 5: Went 1-2, Game 1 I lost Lightning Strikes, Stormbreath Dragon and a keyrune that he turned into a 3/1 killed me. Game 2 Consuming Aberration swung for 32 and won me the game. Final game I was milling him and about to swing with Aberration for lethal damage when he got Dreadbore and then for got out 2 Stormbreath Dragon and by this time I was only and 2 cards in hand and had to answer and lost.
Overall went 4-9 and i need help perfecting this deck in my opinion this deck is too creature heavy and was wondering what i should run, I was thing of doing away with the
Omenspeaker
and just running 4 Desecration Demon and 2 AEtherling or 2 Consuming Aberration if i keep the aberration should i get more of Thassa, God of the Sea to make it unblockable or should i just run Aetherlings and no Thassa at all. I would appreciate any help I can get to perfecting this deck and reaching that #1 spot at FNM.
