Mimeoplasm EDH

Commander / EDH

Rychuuuuu

This Mimeoplasm build has evolved a lot over the past year or so to incorporate more synergies and less brute force kills. It's meant to be somewhat resilient to graveyard hate and has a ton of win conditions. I tried to avoid tutors but Survival of the Fittest is too appropriate to ignore and Buried Alive seems fair as the only graveyard "combo" really is Triskelion and Lord of Extinction.

Other interesting interactions include:

-Zameck Guildmage + Persist Creature + Sac Outlet

-Mill (especially Mesmeric Orb/Jace's Archivist/Informer) + Bloodchief Ascension/Vulturous Zombie

-Havengul Lich + Evoke Creature/Sakura Tribe Elder/Fleshbag Marauder

-Necromancy + Kederekt Leviathan

And there are still some ways to go big and nuke an opponent with Commander damage - best target is usually Thornling but most of the creatures are good targets when Corpsejack Menace or Doubling Season are on the board. Also note that Fathom Mage triggers a draw for each +1/+1 counter put on it when used as Mimeoplasm's clone half (and he's a great place to send Forgotten Ancient counters).

I've avoided true combos (none of the sac outlets are infinite for the Persist loop) but if your playgroup supports them you can easily slide an Altar of Dementia and Master Biomancer in for that sort of thing. Straightforward reanimation options (Entomb + Animate Dead, etc) would probably also make the deck more competitive. Infect creatures (Skithiryx and Putrefax) are brutal as Mimeoplasm clones with the bonus +1/+1 counters but I took them out as I hate dying to poison counters in EDH and hate distributing them almost as much.
