The Duskmantle Guildmage + Mindcrank combo is the bread and butter budget combo deck. You can probably see how it works, but just in case: Duskmantle Guildmage's first ability deals infinite damage and infinite mill with Mindcrank in play. The combo also requires you to either deal a damage or get a card into your opponent's graveyard somehow; this can be easily done by attacking, killing a creature, or just waiting your opponent out with a Duskmantle Guildmage activation up until they either play a spell or discard to hand size. The rest of the deck is a control shell; your general plan is to disrupt your opponents with counterspells and removal until you can assemble the combo.
