I put this together back when these were standard legal but want to bring it to modern. Im looking for suggestions to make this modern playable. The deck is Based on an infinite mana combo using Axebane Guardian, Mnemonic Wall and Twinflame to produce infinite mana and then make infinite Elvish Mystic or Archaeomancer and attacking for the win. You can also burn them to death with Turn / Burn or deck them with Opportunity. Its only about $35 before the mana base so just replace the shocks and temples with guild gates.

Combo Pieces

Axebane Guardian+Mnemonic Wall+ Twinflame are your combo pieces and you cant win without them. The goal is to get these pieces together as quickly as possible.

The other creatures Archaeomancer is another Mnemonic Wall that can also attack for the win but not being a defender he wont help Axebane Guardian produce mass amounts of mana.Elvish Mystic and Sylvan Caryatid ramp up so you can cast your combo quicker or play Opportunity to find your missing pieces and the later is also a defender BONUS!!!

The Spells Opportunity helps draw threw your library to find your combo and also works to deck your opponent once your combo goes off.Izzet Charm can counter a counter, burn a problem creature, or dig for your combo.Turn / Burn awesome creature removal that deals with almost everything! can also burn your opponent to death once your combo goes off.Simic Charm can be a nice surprise power to a wall when your opponent doesnt expect it, and bounce a problem creature back to there hand or save one of your own, and it can give all your combo pieces hexproof!!! WIN WIN
