I've tried to optimize UB mill decks for a bit, but there was always something pulling me back.
So i decided to look at something on the various sites, and i come up with the idea to put some white in it.Supreme Verdict is more effective and cheaper than Damnation, while Path to Exile can be used also on oneself (thx to Lingering Souls) to rack up lands.
Archive Trap is good, even when the opponent is aware of its presence. In fact, they will NOT search for lands when Path to Exile or Ghost Quarter strikes, all for my amusement when i have no trap in hand ;)

make deck consistency, while Lingering Souls and Jace's Phantasm provide some meat shields and pressure.Especially Jace's Phantasm, i can't stress enough of how much this card is useful and a must-have on any mill deck. It made me WIN a lot of matches, and with a good draw, having a 5/5 flyer on Turn 2 (Glimpse the Unthinkable) can really tax your opponent
On the sideboard, Esper Charm is useful against all the Leyline of Sanctity decks, while giving draw potential, while Damping Matrix takes care of artifact and the majority of combo decks. I use Hero's Downfall agaist pesky planeswalkers, like Liliana of the Veil, but it need a better construction.
BTW Visions of Beyond is 0.5-0.7$ and Jace's Phantasm is 0.8-1$ ;)
