I first got involved in Magic during the Mirrodin block and ever since then, Artifact decks have have been my favorite to build and play. I have had an Affinity deck since the end of the Mirrodin block but I've always wanted to make an Arcbound's Modular deck. The following is my attempt at it.

My attempt to get around the large mana costs is including 8 locus lands, Glimmerpost and Cloudpost. Best case senario, I have 4 mana to spend on turn 2 and I can drop Arcbound Crusher. I also included Urza's lands. They sounded great in theory but trial runs have failed to draw the set in the first five turns once.

I have so much mana ramp with the locus lands that I haven't had trouble dropping arcbound overseer on turn 4 or 5 but I was emptying my hand quickly. So I added a play set of Tezzeret's Gambit. I can just pay 2 life if I don't have an island on the board, which is quite likely.

Throne of Geth give me a way to sac my modular creatures before they are exiled and I can beef up others or stick all of them on Triskelion. Remove all the +1/+1 from Triskelion and ping my opponent to death. Artisan of Kozilek was added because two creatures for just 9 mana is really not that bad.
