Rwb
This is a go long control deck that looks to 1 4 1 with the opponent with removal spells and take over the late game with Lingering Souls or the Nahiri Emrakul combo. Sorin emblem with Souls and vents is sweet!
Because of the 27 spell count Bedlam Reveler can often be cast for its maximum value as a rr draw 3, but is also fine as a 2rr draw 3 when hell bent. Value either way.
I play 2 sweepers in the main, including Wrath of God and Pyroclasm. I have considered anger but I like the idea of having the 4 and 2 mana split.
Current major problem with the deck is the fetch lands. I play 3 Flooded strands but with they were r/w fetches. It can be aquward but sequence correctly.
match ups:
Burn
Key cards - Lightning Helix collective Brutality and shambling vent. Game 1 plan is to preserve the life total and take over the late game.
Bad cards - nights wisper, Emrakul, Nahiri
50/50 game 1 depending on draw and how cards line up.
Jund/junk
Key cards - Lingering Souls Nahiri Bedlam Reveler removal, burn, vents. Oust is extremely good vs their threats as they have no etb's and don't play super well from behind.
A bob/goyf has no chance of sticking and lilly folds to Souls. Nahiri coming down and eating a goyf and sticking around is backbreaking vs them.
80/20 match up
Grixus/ rwb control
Key cards - Souls, vebts, Plains walkers and card draw.
Bad cards - too much burn/removal can be bad
65/35 good match up.
Infect
Key cards - removal / Souls
Sometime a fast clock can't be establishes vs them and they can sneek through wins. Clunky draws can equal losses.
60-40 match up
Affinity
Key card removal and Souls.
Ousting an Ornithopter is hilarious. If they are playing edged champion you can get boned.
60/40 match up
Titan valakut
Key cards - burn, Souls
Bad cards- everything expensive
I don't play enough hand destruction and they don't play small creatures.
10/90 very bad match up
Creatures less combo
Establishing a fast clock is hard for my deck and as such can give combo decks the time they need to setup. Adnausim will surly kill you b4 you kill them.
Heavy creature decks (stomps, elves)
Key cards - removal and board wipes
Good match ups.
