This deck is about slow burn, burn accelerators, and synergistic pillow-forting. The primary goals are to use cards like Mogis, God of Slaughter and Lightning Reaver to get some consistent but nonthreatening damage onto the board. These cards and ramp will be the focus of the early game

In the midgame, damage multipliers are what bring us close to winning + Pox is a big one. Ideally we'll want to sneak in a draw engine like Night Dealings or Phyrexian Arena .

As you setup the enchantment damage engine, cards like Stuffy Doll and some regenerable chump blockers to deter and endure attacks. As a finisher, Exsanguinate and X spells work well, as also provide alternative win conditions the your enchantment engine be destroyed after significant damage has been done.

Bloodchief Ascension , Oppression , Polluted Bonds , Tree of Perdition , Underworld Dreams , and Wound Reflection are cards that I'm leaving on my acquireboard for now. I wanted to make sure I liked the deck before nearly doubling the price with just a few cards. I play with groups whose power level is usually 4-7, so I don't need it to be crazy strong. That said, I'm open to suggestions of other powerful cards that aren't on my radar.

8/22 This was a Jeleva deck! 8/23 Wasn't vibing well. Decided to go full Rakdos.

8/24 need more devotion, probably fewer multipliers (maybe down to 7), more lands, more draw, fewer nonessential artifacts. will try to keep as many enchants as possible. might swap out the 2 dwarves for 1 more simple land destruction spell to make more room. need to revisit maybe/cut list for good devotion-related cards.

8/25 Just played against some decks with accidental land hate. Decided to only move forward with land hate cards that would exclude mana-screwed players.

8/25 Have ordered the cards. Made a few last minute adjustments based on card price fluctuation. Am pretty pleased. Covers all main goals.

8/26 Gonna update description and post to reddit for advice.

8/27 Thinking I might sideboard some hatebear cards for if my meta gets intense. Something like "powering up" tag for abusive cards

9/21 This deck has been a blast! I love all of the inquisitive looks I get when this deck starts going. The stax cards can be really oppressive to creatures, so I may remove those in place of low cmc burn. I did end up adding Wound Reflection and other powerful cards to actually finish off opponents. The WR isn't very high for my meta, but the KDA/DPS is very good.
