So, you want to build Zombie Hunt but hate the fact that everyone accuses you of netdecking and scoops. Well, have I got the deck for you! And in Pauper too! Mongrel Hunt exists in the same vein as it's modern equivalent, but instead of Treasure Hunt + Zombie Infestation , we have Treasure Hunt + Wild Mongrel !

Goodbye Mortuary Mire — March 25, 2017

Mortuary Mire proved too slow and cumbersome to play, even in the sideboard. Instead, we added Prismatic Strands! Fuel for the Wild Mongrel, and it stops burn, aggro, etc. Only side it in if you're having trouble with too much burst damage. We also cut our Simic Guildgates and Woodland Streams, and added in Bant Panorama to shuffle the library off of Halimar Depths. Panorama was chosen over Evolving Wilds because it can be immediately tapped for mana. REMEMBER, unless you NEED the land, do NOT fetch a land. Just use it for the shuffle.
