Through testing I found that Mono-instantlyggro is a solid competitive deck, along with being a relatively cheap deck to build. I'll try to run through the deck, so bear with me s-senpai, it's my first time =~=
One-Drops:I decided to run a playest Bloodsoaked Champion,
Tormented Hero
, and Gnarled Scarhide. Bloodsoaked Champion is the replacement for Rakdos Cackler, and a dang good one at that. His raid ability is always relevant, and he is just constant late game material.
Two-Drops: A playest of
Pain Seer
seems to do the Job quite well, as if it doesn't get instantly removed, then you gain a MASSIVE tempo swing.
Spiteful Returned
is a monster, even helps late-game with bestowing, just an overall good guy. For removal, 2 Bile Blight, with more options in the sideboard. Last but not least, Sign in Blood. I was extremely happy when I saw this was being reprinted, as I had some good times with it a couple years back. Gets your land drops, gets extra fuel, can even deal that extra 2 points for you to win the game.
Three-Drops:Most of the win-cons right here.
Herald of Torment
. Me bash face with fly guy. Bestow too good.
Mogis's Marauder
. GG. Hall of Triumph good too. Hero's Downfall stompy-stomp. Just the best removal spell overall. Also, Master of the Feast. This guy is bonkers. Sure, draw an extra card. You're still dead in one less turn.
As for the lands, 22 Swamp, because I just MIGHT need black mana. Fetchlands are optional, being that it only make you thin out your deck by like %1.
That about concludes my showcase of Mono-Black Aggro. I usually play White Weenie but it might not make it in Khans. Hope you enjoyed, +1's and constructive criticism is always appreciated! Thanks!
