I made this deck so that I can really bring out the characteristics of Black Mana. Cruel, Ruthless, Sadistic only without having to face the consequences on my part such as sacrificing creatures or losing life.

Some of the main features of this deck include:

Erebos, God of the Dead + Whip of Erebos: There is no better way to be an unfair player than to completely deprive your opponent of any way to gain life and crush any glimmer of hope they dare to possess while rubbing it in their face by giving all your creatures lifelink and gaining the life that they wish they had.

Liliana Vess + Liliana's Caress + Triumph of Cruelty+ Painful quandary: My favourite combo, the ultimate cruelty, the cream of the crop combo of this deck. With these four cards on the field, your opponent will be in for a VERY long night of SUFFERING! Use Liliana Vess to make your opponent discard and lose 2 life through Liliana's Caress. If that wasn't enough, you can also have Triumph of Cruelty on the field, particularly when you control a big creature like Griselbrand so that they won't be discarding one card every turn but TWO and they will be forced to weep and beg for mercy as they lose 4 life every turn! BUT, it doesn't end there, no, what kind of sadistic bully would I be if I didn't have a Painful Quandary on the field to add to the torment and blackmail them. Every time they cast spells they must make the difficult choice between losing 5 life or discarding a third card and losing 6 LIFE that's right 6 life points every time they dare to cast a spell in my almighty presence.

Geth, Lord of the Vault or Liliana Vess: Why cast your own creatures and risk losing them to pesky counterspells or banishing lights when you could simply steal whatever is lying in your opponent's graveyard and force them to remove their own creatures, ensuring your creatures gain maximum safety in the form of less removal and counterspells being hurled at them.
