Sideboard

Similar to a jund style deck, you use hand attack and removal to grind out the game. There are some downsides to being mono black mainly the restriction of multicolored cards, but there are quite a few upsides. The biggest one being Phyrexian Obliterator. Your lands are also very well suited to beat Blood Moon, and they also keep the cost low. The main strategy of the deck is to control the early game and then drop threats that are either hard to deal with, are a deterrent of large creatures, and last long into the late game in the midgame. You also should also try to utilize your life total as a utility tool as much as possible only blocking when it is absolutely necessary since you want to keep as many black mana symbols around as possible for your Gray Merchant of Asphodel's to either one shot your opponent or refill your life total so you can tank more damage. Overall the deck is very fun and really good for fnm, and could maybe even do well at a gp, but only time will tell. As with most decks this is a prototype so any and all help is much appreciated. As always the sideboard should be tuned to your meta so don't use the provided one as the set and stone option.
