Mono-Black 19 Relentless Rats! (Pauper MTG Deck)

Now that Relentless Rats is a common, I think it's time to try out a deck full of them! Really, nothing is more fun than dropping Dark Ritual on Turn 1 and then dropping a Relentless Rats . What's better? Casting Cartouche of Ambition and giving one lifelink.

I reworked the deck and added "black control" aspect, and I added Gray Merchant of Asphodel , which has turned out to be a complete bomb in the deck. Fun to play and the rats get pretty ridiculous if left unchecked!

I added 1x Gray Merchant of Asphodel (to get 4x total) and -1x Relentless Rats (for 19x total). I'm not sure how I feel about this as there needs to be a certain density of rats to reliably get that aspect of the deck to work. I'll tinker with this. Gray Merchant of Asphodel is just really powerful, so maybe a 4th copy is needed? I was pretty happy with 3x, but I'll try 4x and see...

I also added 1x Bojuka Bog and 1x Barren Moor (for 2x total) and removed 2x Swamp (resulting in 18x total). I don't like adding tap lands to this because it messes with the flow, but I'll try it and see how it goes.
