The first pauper deck I was inspired to make to play locally. Refined to contend against faster decks like mono-red aggro/burn.

With this Delver of Secrets deck, I decided to do something a bit different from what others do (e.g. Delver plus a lot of other creatures like Faeries) and decided to have Delver of Secrets as the primary creature for the deck; other spells are almost all instants and sorceries for consistency and higher probability of flipping the Delver. A lot of the instants and sorceries concern creating creature tokens so I at least have some defense during combat in the form of 0/3 crabs and a surprise 5/5 wall courtesy of Tidal Wave. Counterspells and other control spells keep me out of harm's way in any case. And I'd be nuts not to include Tolarian Terror in the deck as a late game threat for obvious reasons. Also, it's fine to use Step Through to bounce creatures but its primary use as far as I'm concerned is to tutor for Delvers.

Sideboard explanation: Arcane Subtraction in the main deck can wish me a Fractal Summoning and a Serpentine Curve so I can create a creature token of decent size. Clear the Mind in case someone wants to go after my graveyard which Tolarian Terror can make good use of. Echoing Truth is not only good against opponents' same-name creatures, but also your own in case something nasty were to happen to all of them. I decided to include Vedalken Aethermage in case I'm up against a sliver deck, plus it can do the same Wizardcycling ability as Step Through.
