Hi, this is the mono blue version of my merfolk tempo deck. It's also budget friendly at around 120$ total (190 with Lord of Atlantis though).

I'm pretty much decided on using this version over my simic one,

open to all suggestions!

I like this version better for the mana simplicity it offers (dual lands are also what often costs the most in the deck)

I like synergies like

Riptide Laboratory with my merfolk wizards and Exclusion Mage as they all benefits from entering the battlefield

Merrow Reejerey and Harbinger of the Tides

I liked the card draw from Wall of Blossoms but I think Wall of Tears has a lots of charm for a tempo deck. I works both as an unsummon effect and to slow down the opponent attacks and gives me time since they might not want to get bounced back.

I'm not sure about how useful Tempest Caller really is, he sounds strong on paper but maybe after playtesting I will do
