Mono-Blue Self-Mill Blitzkrieg

Modern Aggro Budget Mill Mono-Blue

MiahDrao

Sideboard

The Skaab Ruintator is the most important card of the deck. The goal of this deck is to mill it out of the deck as soon possible and start swinging for 5 damage in the air every turn.

Ideally, we're milling at a constant rate of 2 to 3 cards a turn, thanks to Hedron Crab, Screeching Skaab, and/or Thought Scour. To delay the game before the Skaab Ruinator comes into play, I have instants that slow opponent's creatures such as Vapor Snag and Will of the Naga. Additionally, I keep Cloudfin Raptor for blocking/early game attacking. In the late game, it attacks alongside my Skaab Ruinator. Judge's Familiar helps at any point in the game. It helps in the early game to delay burn spells from killing my crabs or delaying counter-spells in the late game. To cycle through cards faster, I have Civilized Scholar  , Jace's Archivist, and Mystic Meditation to keep card-drawing at a maximum. However I can get out the Skaab Ruinator fastest, I'll do it.

After a typical 1 vs. 1 game that I have won, I will have cycled through half the deck or more. On games that I lose with this deck, it's usually because I didn't mill fast enough. 19 lands has actually caused some pretty amazing results. It is quite a lot lower than average, but, really, I only need a mana pool of 3 to start casting the win condition. Even before then, I can still cast up to 26 cards (including Will of the Naga) before I get to 3 mana. If this deck needs room to improve, it's definitely in the realm of functioning against a heavy control deck. I find that it wins a lot easier against other aggro decks or tempo decks.
