Glass Cannon

A Marwyn, The Nurterer build is very "Glass Cannon" all or nothing strategy. Either you win right away, or someone boardwipes and you get sent back to the stone ages. Luckily for you, my playgroud runs a ton of boardwipes, so I've built this deck to be able to survive that type of situation.

Game Plan

This deck aims to get Marwyn, The Nurterer out as fast as possible. Once you get her out you can start playing all of your little elves that make her bigger. After a turn of two she gets big enough for you to start playing your entire hand and you can even drop some big doinks.

Establishing a Board Presence

This is a "Go Wide" strategy that needs to be quick at building a board. You ramp and get bodies out with cards like: Arbor Elf, Boreal Druid, Elvish Mystic, Fyndhorn Elves, Heritage Druid, Llanowar Elves, Dwynen's Elite, Priest of Titania, Circle of Dreams Druid, Elvish Archdruid, Imperious Perfect, Llanowar Tribe, Wood Elves, Canopy Tactician, Lys Alana Huntmaster, and Collected Company.

Once you've got 4 or 5 elves out you can really explode with cards like: Elven Ambush which can be played at instant speed at the end of the turn before yours and, Elvish Promenade which is essentially the same card, but it's only at sorcery speed. Elvish Promenade counts as an elf spell to trigger things like Lys Alana Huntmaster, but it doesn't hit the field and trigger Marwyn, the Nurturer

Abuse Marwyn

We play multiple things that untap Marwyn, the Nurture, so we can really rip ahead of our opponents. We do this with cards like: Quirion Ranger, Wirewood Symbiote, Scryb Ranger, Seeker of Skybreak, and Wirewood Lodge.

Card Draw

This build runs so many small creatures that you will very consistently empty your entire hand. Replenishing your hand is essential in progressing towards your win. You can do this with creatures like: Elvish Visionary, Leaf-Crowned Visionary, Beast Whisperer, and Regal Force. We also run spells like: Shamanic Revelation, Rishkar's Expertise, Last March of the Ents, and I am tempted to run Garruk, Primal Hunter too because Marwyn, the Nurturer always get so big.

Lords / Pump Up

We have: Leaf-Crowned Visionary, Metallic Mimic, Elvish Archdruid, Elvish Champion, Galadhrim Brigade, Imperious Perfect, Canopy Tactician, and Dwynen, Gilt-Leaf Daen.

Game Finishers

You need a board full of little elves for these to close the game. Our Finishers are: Allosaurus Shepherd, Ezuri, Renegade Leader, Pathbreaker Ibex, Craterhoof Behemoth, Triumph of the Hordes, Coat of Arms, and Beastmaster Ascension.

Tutors

After you build up your board state you're going to want to close out the game as efficiently as possible. Your best bet is to tutor into your game finishers. The tutors include: Fauna Shaman, Fierce Empath, Green Sun's Zenith, Worldly Tutor, Archdruid's Charm, Chord of Calling which is instant speed, so it can be used at the endstep before your turn, Natural Order, and Survival of the Fittest.

Potection

To protect our most valuable creatures we have: Lightning Greaves, Swiftfoot Boots, and Yavimaya Hollow.

Heroic Intervention, Wrap in Vigor should be held in had as a response to boardwipes.

To protect our face from getting beaten we have: Fog, Constant Mists, Moment's Peace, and Arachnogenesis. I'd like to find a spot for Obscuring Haze.

Removal

Reclamation Sage, Bane of Progress, Archdruid's Charm, Beast Within, Krosan Grip, Kenrith's Transformation, and Song of the Dryads.

Board Wipes

We are going to be the player that opponents want to wrath for, so we don't really run wraths (Green doesn't really have any board wipes anyways). We do run Nevinyrral's Disk in the event our board gets blown up and we want to keep our opponents in check. It will force opponents to play conservatively.

Annoying Cards

I'm running Collector Ouphe and that's really it. I would like to also run Null Rod, and Hall of Gemstone to really mess with my opponents, but please note that playing these cards draws a ton of hate and could make your friends salty if they haven't built their decks well enough.
