This deck is a fairly low-budget monoblack control/Pack Rat Standard deck I've built for FNM and casual play. I would be thankful for suggestions to improve it!:)

I started with a Rat theme but quickly found out that none of the rats in the format are really playable, so I retained only the Pack Rats as finishers for controllish match-ups. The creatures in the deck help stabilize life totals against aggro (Blood Artist, Vampire Nighthawk) and apply pressure while generating card advantage against midrange/control decks (Lifebane Zombie, Bloodgift Demon, Ogre Slumlord). The remaining cards are card draw and removal. The sideboard has more removal for aggro match-ups and Duress and Dark Prophecy for control.

The only card that is an obvious 4-of in this deck which is not included for cost reasons is Mutavault. Other than that, the Slumlords seem to underperform, but I don't know what to replace them with. The removal mix seems fine, depending on the prevalence of Hexproof decks the Devour Flesh's can be switched for straight targeted removal. Sign In Blood is nice, but can be cumbersome in multiples, especially against fast decks, so I'm thinking of replacing at least 1-2 copies of it with value cards.
