Creatures:
Blood Artist is amazing in this type of deck. Every time you sacrifice a creature, it's one less life for your opponent and one more life for yours truly.
Cartel Aristocrat is one of the aggressive outlets of the deck. Sacrificing creatures triggers morbid for your Skirsdag High Priest and allows you to sneak two damage past your opponent every turn.
Champion of the Parish is the best white one drop I can think of right now. This deck has six different human creature cards as well as Gather the Townsfolk so your opponent will always have to consider him a threat.
Doomed Traveler works wonders in a human sacrifice deck. You can attack or block freely then sacrifice it liberally to trigger one of the multiple sacrifice effects in this deck.
Falkenrath Torturer
is another aggressive outlet of the deck. His ability to gain flying is useful for bypassing many of your opponent's creatures.
Knight of Infamy
is amazing with creatures like Cartel Aristocrat or Champion of the Parish and the protection from white allows for free three damage swings in the current meta.
Ravenous Demon
may seem risky but you'll barely ever run out of humans to sacrifice in this deck due to Gather the Townsfolk and Thraben Doomsayer. He's usually the game ender.
Reaper from the Abyss
is a late game drop if you ever reach that state of the game. His removal ability is basically a free bone splinters since you can sacrifice a creature to trigger another creature's ability. His flying and 6/6 is always a bonus.
Skirsdag High Priest will allow you to summon a horde of 5/5 flying demon tokens. Who can say no to that?
Thraben Doomsayer is here because you'll always need humans to sacrifice and his Fateful Hour ability, although difficult to trigger, will help you end the game.
Sorceries/Instants:
Orzhov Charm
is the removal spell I'm running for this deck. Four removal spells is more than enough in this deck since you won't need to worry about blockers that often due to Cartel Aristocrat,
Falkenrath Torturer
or 5/5 flying demons.
Gather the Townsfolk, not much to be said here.
Lingering Souls is a really powerful spell. Getting four 1/1 flying spirit tokens for five mana is really cost effective if you ask me. The spirits will also chip away at your opponent's health and can always be used for sacrifice.
I need help with the sideboard as I'm not quite sure what to put in there. A Blind Obedience seems like a good idea to me but I'm not sure how that syngergizes with the deck. If you have any suggestions or comments about the deck or anything related I'm more than happy to receive them :D
