It's that time of the month folks, the most brilliant of brilliant, most magnificent of magnificent, shall engage enemies in the most engaging engagement in all of engagement history. The utter control from Derevi and the bird fleet, which is the most birdiest of birdy bird fleets, will leave you dumbfounded, and ultimately, in the most ultimate of ultimate ultimatums, convince you that the bird is, indeed, the word.

The main goal of this deck is to secure victory before your opponents can even do anything. Even if you play against them again, and they know what you can do, this deck will still win regardless.

The main win condition is to get a lockdown card out as soon as possible. These lockdown cards include Winter Orb, Rising Waters, Stasis, and Hokori, Dust Drinker . If you are having trouble getting a lockdown, Chord of Calling can bring out Hokori, Dust Drinker , utilizing all the low cost birds in the deck. Now, now, these lockdown cards may seem to hinder you, but soaring over your enemies blockers and smacking them with birds will trigger Derevi's ability, tapping any lands they may have been saving up, and untapping yours as well. There are also cards such as Sword of Feast and Famine, Bear Umbra, and Nature's Will , which all untap your lands whenever you hit them with something, keeping your mana pool full at all times.

Although this deck has been test played and almost always gets a lockdown card, Derevi, and some birds out to win the game as little as turn 4, you can also go crap on there face with a bunch of birds. Sure they are small, but there are so many cards that pump them up, like Obelisk of Urd and Door of Destinies.

Have fun pissing everyone off by perma-locking them for the whole game!
