Marchesa, the Black Rose Currently is used in plenty of strategies that involve using thievery effects, giving haste, then sacking after enabling dethrone. These strategies are just fine, but this deck focuses on trying to permanently steal the creature. That way if marchesa is not on the field, there is "steal" plenty of value with the blue steal effects.

In addition to the point above, taking people creatures will cause them to attack you out of frustration. However, this will help you enable dethrone. Which will allow you to keep their creatures longer.

This deck is for people that don't like to win at 40 life. OR people that would prefer to play your opponents deck.
