Introduction Show

This Deck aims to slow down your opponents, while generating card advantage through its commander. This is a Control deck that can win by playing a combo. However, this combos are either slow or not deadly enough to win right away. This is why I included various control pieces.

You will like playing this deck, if you like playing a control deck, that can seriously interrupt your opponents. You should be willing to play unfair cards, like Lion's Eye Diamond (serious this card is not fair, if you are able to cast permanents from your graveyard).

You shouldn't play this deck, if you prefer midrange or combo decks. You also shouldn't play this deck in rather casual playgroups. This deck may not be fully competitive, but it is close to it. First, it's ramp is really fast. You have good chances to play your commander on turn 3 (!). Second, some cards are not at all nice to play against. This is espiacially true, if your playgroup has no answers for them.

There is no budget restriction in my playgroup and we are allowed to use proxies. You will have to cut some cards like geae's cradle or Lion's Eye Diamond, if your playgroup has such restrictions.

Winconditions Show

This deck plays four different combos. The first one is Muldrotha, the Gravetide + Phantasmal image + Animate Dead + lion's eye diamond. You start by playing your commander. Then continue with lion's eye diamond. Play Phantasmal image targeting your commander. Let him go into the graveyard. Then legend rule your commander. Crack Lion's Eye Diamond and play animate dead on your commander. Now play Lion's Eye Diamond again, so you can cast phantasmal image targeting your commander again. By doing this you create infinite mana. You are also able to cast every permanent from your graveyard.

This works, because your commander is a "new" card every time he enters the battlefield. This combo is especially strong, because you can search for it with Intuition.

The second one is Deadeye Navigator + Lion's Eye Diamond + Muldrotha, the Gravetide It works the same way the first one does. Just flicker Muldrotha for infinite LED casts, which leads to infinite mana and infinite nonland Permanentcasts from your graveyard.

The third one is Consecrated Sphinx, Entomb and Animate Dead. This is very strong, if you manage to pull it off on turn 2. The cardadvantage should suffice to win.

The fourth is Notion Thief + Windfall Just flash Notion Thief in after casting windfall while holding priority and your opponents lose their hands and you draw a ton of cards.

It is possible, but much more difficult to whin without these combos. However these backup wincons tend to be very useful: Ulamog, ceaseless hunger: You cast him and then attack until your opponents are dead. Kokusho, the Evening Star: Let him die as often as possible. By doing this, you will slowly grind your opponent's life down. Try to do this in a way, where you are still able to attack with Kokusho. So sac him after he has dealt damage.

Sacoutlets Show

This deck is playing various sacoutlets. Their aim is to put the cards you want to play again like Mindsclicer or Baleful Strix into your graveyard. They also allow some shenanigans like playing Treachery, sacrificing the enchanted creature and playing treachery again. I'm not sure yet whether there might be to many of them.

They are required for some combos to win the game, because infinite mana and infinite cast from your graveyard are useless, if your graveyard and hand are empty.
