The aim of this deck is to power up your Energy counters with cards like Aetherworks Marvel and sac outlets. The deck runs multiple cards that sacrifice themselves (i.e. Spellbombs) that can then be replayed using Muldrothas' ability to gain maximum Energy.

One of the key combos in the deck is Gravecrawler + Phyrexian Altar while controlling any Zombie which can be created via Kalitas, Traitor Of Ghet or using Grimoire of the Dead. Doing this while controlling Zulaport Cutthroat allows you to drain your opponents out of the game.
