Hello, welcome to my toolbox 4 player control/combo deck!

The goal is to drop Solemnity alongside Decree of Silence. Your opponents will not be able to cast any spells. From there, you burn 'em out with Form of the Dragon. You may wonder, what happens to the creatures on board? Well, beyond board clears I utilize Humility while in dragon form to soar above the competition. This may seem like a lot of mana, and 2 very specific 2 card combos. That's where the cornerstone of the strategy comes in: Enduring Ideal. This glorious sorcery allows us to tutor enchantments to the battlefield on our upkeep at the low cost of never casting spells again. We break this effect using Paradox Haze. Allowing us to drop any of the aforementioned combos, a Solitary Confinement to stay alive, a Starfield of Nyx to ressurect combo pieces, and a whole bunch of other spicy enchantments.

Other cute combos:

Phyrexian Unlife + Solemnity = never lose. Form of the Dragon + Second Chance + Starfield of Nyx = infinite turns. This is my own discovery, and one of my greatest achievements as a magic player. It is unbelievably satisfying when you have to explain this to everyone else at the table.

My commanders are light stax, as they benefit me when my opponents do things. The general gameplan is to halt my opponent's game-winning plays with counterspells or cheap removal. It is impossible to control every play so knowledge of game-ending effects and combos is crucial for victory. Once you have room to breath look to drop value creatures or one of two combos that draw your deck and generate infinite mana so you can cast lab-man.

The back-up plan is to voltron using the flying men in the commmand zone. The large amount of mana rocks will enable a turn 2 or 3 Ishai or Kraum. I usually prioritize Ishai over Kraum early because most players will not cast two spells a turn until around turn 5. You really have to dedicate a commander to each other player and start turning them sideways. You'll be surprised at how quickly they'l force an answer from your opponents which buys much needed time for the original game-plan.

I have a fair amount of counterspells and removal, but this deck is meant for multiplayer. As such, I have included a suite of board-wipes and pillow-fort cards to deflect aggression. The counters are really only there to stop someone else's infinite, or save a potential ally.

My goal was to make a control deck that is fun to play, and play against.
