Music of the Spheres | Jodah, Archmage Eternal

Commander / EDH* Battlecruiser Casual Goodstuff Multiplayer

Jodah had not planned to step into the abyss. His intention had been to evade a mortal predicament by planeswalking, but the multiverse had other designs. An ancient demiurge, a being of unfathomable power and ageless beyond comprehension, had guided him here. This Elder God had infused Jodah with a calling: to weave the very threads of existence.

As Jodah travelled through the planes, his power amplified. He forged powerful alliances, such as with Atraxa, Grand Unifier, and Esika, God of the Tree. He also made formidable adversaries, like Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker, and Kozilek, Butcher of Truth. But with each encounter, each conflict, each pact, Jodah's comprehension of the multiverse deepened.

His journey was not merely a physical one, but a spiritual odyssey. It was a process of sublimation and fixation, an alchemical process leadint to projection, the transformation of matter. Jodah had to immerse himself in the multiverse, to grasp its rhythm and rhyme. He had to dissolve his preconceptions in the athanor of experience before he could crystallize his understanding into his magnus opus.

With each plane he visited, Jodah added a new range to his symphony. The roar of the Apex Devastator, the whisper of the Noble Hierarch, the laughter of the Maelstrom Wanderer, the silence of the Blightsteel Colossus. Each was a unique melody, a distinct vibration in the fabric of reality. It was a song of power and mystery, of peril and wonder.

But the symphony was far from complete. There were still notes to be discovered, tones to be heard. And so, Jodah continued his quest, his mission. He would not rest until the harmony was complete, until the Music of The Spheres reverberated throughout the multiverse.
This deck has come a long way, and is soon undergoing another update. However I want to thank DrkNinja for their input in my original brew.
We are a friendly, casual, multiplayer group that enjoys high-powered good fun. As such, infinite combo are unwelcome, and we are enforcing the Banned List - The Command Tower that is mostly focused on mass land destruction or cards that prevent play, like Winter Orb or Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger. Also we decided not to use Sol Ring because that just frees one spot for everyone in every deck to play something different.
The base for the deck is obviously the Fist of Suns ability of Jodah, Archmage Eternal, and using it to cast several cards with prohibitive mana values. The expensive creatures can also be played for free using Court of Bounty or Lurking Predators. Alternatively, creatures can be also be cast for cheap using Quicksilver Amulet or Myojin of Life's Web. Other ways to capitalize on having so many expensive mana values are the draw ability of Demonlord Belzenlok, and the damage from Baneful Omen or Twilight Prophet. Keeping the top of the deck in check can seal the deal, so Scroll Rack is a great piece here, as well as Sylvan Library
