This is the third Naya aggro deck I've put on here and finally thanks to Journey into Nyx has this deck made something SUPER consistent and SUPER fast and SUPER difficult with which to deal. It's pretty simple just drop some hexproof sluts and slap some spice on'em and hit for as much as I can as fast as I can. Turn 2 4 damage, with
Gladecover Scout
then a Madcap Skills or we can drop a BTE second turn then slap some skills to pay the bills on her and swing for 5 third turn or slap an Ethereal Armor on to blast for 7 third turn which is pretty...awesome. One, more option is just to drop an Unflinching Courage on her to blast for 7 lifelink. I call this deck My Life Total is Irrelevant because I shock, and Mana Confluence myself to death every single game and still win. People think, oh he's gonna kill himself but not as fast as I'm going to kill you.
My FNM went similar to this....
1st round vs. BUG Walkers (Jeff)He was screwed first game on land but I came out with the strategy early with a gladecover and just beat face.
Second game, I got land screwed and was stuck on two and he pulled a Jace, Vraska and Ashiok all out at the same time and made me hate life.
Third game, just trampled him down with the skills to pay the bills before he could figure out what was going on.
Second round Esper control (Brandon)First game He locked me down with 3 different Detention Spheres on my BTE's my unflinching courage and my madcap skills which makes my 1/1 hexproof pretty useless...he won with Elspeth
Second game I sided in a ton of destructive revelry 3 to be exact after which he took all his kills spells out and his d spheres making my revelries USELESS although I didn't see them anyway. But, I did get a 6/6 mistcutter sided in and a skylasher flash to help me swing for enough.
Third game, this is nasty...I have a few hexproof monkeys out but he Supreme Verdict my face after which I drop a skylasher on his turn, sucks for you bud then hit and hit as much as I can no buffs. Then he's at 4 life...he asks he's pro blue right? Yep. Here comes a Blood Baron of Vizkopa at your end step magma jet to your head make sure i get a mizzium mortars I scry to and find a madcap right on top and a mizzium right below...both work dude. You lose.
3rd was R/G Monsters (Adam)1st game everything that hit the table I smacked down with a chained to the rocks. Here comes a voyaging satyr, chain it. Here comes some archers. Then an elvish mystic and another satyr. Chain the satyr to the rocks now my archers have madcap skills and ethereal armor. I am swinging for 9 he can't block.
2nd game He managed to pull out a domri which I smacked down with a BTE with the skills then another domri then I smacked him down again then a Xenagos the Reveler which I smacked down as well after that...his resources were pretty exhausted. Getting hit for five hurts too. I hit for five twice, then a third time to Boros charm double strike for the win.
4th Round Boros Burn (Tom) The newest one with the Eidolon of the Great Revel I don't remember the game too well but I do remember getting blasted for two lighting strikes and a skullcrack for the win. Also, he skullcracked every time I swung for unflinching courage lifelink.
Second game I have ulcers at this point I was able to gain enough life he couldn't skullcrack at the right times and I took the cake he was also kind of stuck on four land.
Third game I'm basically sweating...long story short he drew his card, I'm at 7 life...he has two cards in hand...two lighting strikes, I swing for the win...one card down he has a boros charm for the win so I got incredibly lucky.
5th round (Boros Burn Stephen)Exact same deck with 3 less ((mutavault)) we decided to tie so we would both finish in the money but we played for furn and I just...wrecked him two out of three. Ergo, 5-0
