This is a quick and relatively cheap voltron deck, using Rex, Cyber-Hound as its commander.

making Rex unblockable

like many voltron decks, we rely on making the commander unblockable to hit your opponents; to do that I used Rogue's Passage, AEtherling, Surge Engine, Aqueous Form, Sonic Screwdriver, or you can give Rex, Cyber-Hound flying with Multiform Wonder's activated ability

making Rex strong

dealing 2 damage at a time will not get you a win before you get squashed by your opponent, therefore this deck uses Brotherhood Scribe, Electrostatic Pummeler, Emissary of Soulfire, Farmstead Gleaner, Mindshrieker, Sentry Bot, Surge Engine, Idolized, Fabrication Module to make rex a hard hitting dog

Rex sinergies

every creature (except for Forensic Gadgeteer, Brotherhood Scribe, and Lae'zel, Vlaakith's Champion) is great even when exiled with Rex, Cyber-Hound's activated ability; to generate more energy and mill your opponents quicker with Rex, Cyber-Hound's abilities I use Duelist's Heritage, Flaming Fist, Illusionist's Bracers, and Automated Assembly Line

control

No commander deck is safe from a bit od control, which is why I included Aethergeode Miner, Aethertide Whale, AEtherling, Arcanis the Omnipotent, Brightling, Abuelo's Awakening, Jolted Awake, Aether Spike, Swiftfoot Boots, Lightning Greaves, and Consulate Surveillance to protect youself and your trusted companion Rex, Cyber-Hound from your opponents. Meanwhile to counterattack them I use Localized Destruction, Supreme Verdict, Wrath of the Skies, Aethersquall Ancient, Mageta the Lion, Static Prison, Dispatch, Generous Gift, Path to Exile, Return to Dust, and Swords to Plowshares

energy and +1/+1 counters

Energy, charge, and +1/+1 counters are all susceptible to being proliferated, which is a great way to increase your energy to play your effects and abilities, to icrease Rex, Cyber-Hound's stats, and to generate more mana with Everflowing Chalice and Crystalline Crawler. this is the reason for Lae'zel, Vlaakith's Champion, Viral Drake, and Inexorable Tide

every deck with such a low mana curve (only 10 cards cost more than 4 mana) needs to draw a lot in order to not run out of resources, that's why I run Arcanis the Omnipotent, Roil Cartographer, Surge Engine, Era of Innovation, and Thopter Spy Network

infinite combos Show

this deck has a few infinite combo conditions, most rely on having both a mana generator and an untepper both with a brain counter on them, so Farmstead Gleaner + Omen Hawker , Farmstead Gleaner + Palladium Myr , Farmstead Gleaner + Vedalken Engineer , Omen Hawker + Pili-Pala , Palladium Myr + Pili-Pala , Pili-Pala + Vedalken Engineer , Horseshoe Crab + Vedalken Engineer , and Horseshoe Crab + Omen Hawker . If the unteppaer is Farmstead Gleaner the combo results in infinite +1/+1 counters on Rex, Cyber-Hound, if the untapper is Pili-Pala or Horseshoe Crab the result is infinite mana. the only ways I found to use the infinite mana with this deck's cards (so not counting cards that are exiled from your opponents) are Bronzebeak Foragers to heal and return every card exiled with Rex, Cyber-Hound to a graveyard, Mindshrieker to completely mill your opponents while making Rex, Cyber-Hound gigantic, Viral Drake to proliferate infinite times, Abuelo's Awakening to get back an infinitely big artifact or creature from your graveyard, and Wrath of the Skies to gain infinite energy.
