Quick Info
With the unbanning of Bloodbraid Elf, I've been looking into a Naya Zoo/Midrange build that would pair nicely with her. This is the deck I came up with. There are many cards you could add/ alter to suit your playstyle and meta. Things like Tarmogoyf could be added and exchange for other cards in this build for example. you could also argue Birds of Paradise over Noble Hierarch but the exalted is a huge help. A good Majority of the sideboard is for artifact/enchantment hate do to a lot of artifacts and Slippery Bogle bogels/ hexproof.
Early Game
Early game you want to start off with either a Noble Hierarch to help with mana ramp or card: Wild Nactal to start with early aggression. Having any of the removal spells which are Lightning Bolt, Path to Exile or Lightning Helix is also good in the early game to take care of threats. If you didn't get Noble Hierarch you have the removal spells as well as things like Scavenging Ooze and Voice of Resurgence. These are the two drops.Scavenging Ooze is good against graveyard decks and also in the late game. Voice of Resurgence is good against board wipes or mass removal and control decks. Both of which are huge issues with this decks.
Mid Game
Turn two if you got Noble then you usually want to shoot for any of the three drops and on turn three you should be able to drop any of the cards in the deck if not turn 5 the latest. The three drops areKnight of the Reliquary, Loxodon Smiter, or Domri Rade. Depending on matchups some of these you may want to play sooner than others. Knight of the Reliquary lets you get boosted off of your fetches and lets you mana fix yourself if needed or to get rid of fetches late game. Domri Rade allows you to keep the creatures coming or give you knowledge about your next draw. Fighting other certain creatures can be good if certain things are becoming problems. card: Loxodn Smitter is really good against any discard or any control decks. Things like Liliana of the Veil become much worse. and other discard spells will avoid it. Next, is the amazing unbanned card: Bloodbraid. Drop her anytime you see an opening really. She will get everything in the deck and allow you to play it. This includes the sideboard. That is always value!
Late Game
You really don't want to get into the late game but it will happen on occasion. Things like Scavenging Ooze will help due to it being able to eat up past creatures and grow but it will also help gain you life. Card: Knight of the Reliquary is also really good late game due to you most likely having a graveyard full of fetchlands. I cant forget card: Bloodbraid. While she is good at really any point in the game she is very helpful late game to get you two cards for one.
SideBoard:
Due to the increase of boggles/hexproof and artifact heavy decks, this sideboard is focused primarily on that so I'm not going to spend too much time on it. With decks that can produce a huge amount of token creatures, we have Fiery Justice. This allows us to wipe many out all at once. I am considering making this a 2 of in the sideboard but we will have to see how often token decks still appear. Thalia, Guardian of Thraben was bouncing between my main deck and sideboard often when playtesting. I have found though that combo decks are very low and grixis control is growing we have to see if it grows even more. This card is great for things like storm decks which are pretty much gone and control decks. IF the control decks keep growing I would suggest maybe putting this on the Mainboard.
Lands:
This one WILL BE and CAN BE altered depending on what you feel is working and isn't. I am considering taking out card:ghost quarters but we will have to wait and see.
