Maybeboard

Version 2.0

(Added in a bunch of C16 cards and switched around counterspells.)

Welcome to Neverland!! Stay clear of the Jolly Roger. (Predator, Flagship); Captain Hook (Zulaport Cutthroat), Mister Starkey ( Keymaster Rogue ) and Smee (Stealer of Secrets) are still around.

Tinkerbell has gotten angry lately and called some of her friends here. The merfolk are starting to get dangerous. You don't want to tangle with my sword Sword of the Animist or my shadow ( Call of the Nightwing . The Lost Boys... well, the pirates have taken to calling them Ninjas. We call upon one creature to erase and remake Neverland sometimes: the Oblivion Sower.

There's always room for another boy. Forget your troubles. FORGET. Embrace your childhood. Welcome... to Neverland.

I can't put the real heavy-hitters in this deck in for pricing reasons; they're all in the maybeboard, and I have cheap placeholders in, mostly extra faeries. I've MOSTLY abandoned the mill concept in favor of gimmickry and anthems for tokens. Oona, Queen of the Fae makes faeries. Bad Moon, Brass Herald , Deepchannel Mentor, Faerie Swarm , Favorable Winds, Glen Elendra Liege , Inkfathom Witch , Oona's Blackguard , Scion of Oona, etc., etc. make those tokens more powerful.

Cultural Exchange is a gamechangers if Oona (who is costly) can manage to pump out enough tokens to make it worth it.

The rogues are around because they also benefit from some of the anthem effects and for the Neverland gimmick. The ninjas work well with easily sacrificable tokens and are, of course, Tootles, Nibs, Slightly, Curly and the Twins.

Most of the other stuff is pretty self explanatory. It's got a bit of tutoring, some counter, a bit of snap creature destruction, that sort of thing.

Ubiquitous ramp includes Burnished Hart, the perennial Solemn Simulacrum, Darksteel Ingot, Dimir Signet and Sol Ring.

Propaganda might just be my favorite card, and will go in every deck that I can put it in.

This is the first deck that I actually bought the cards for, and the first Magic cards I've owned since about the turn of the millenium (besides a few comedy packs we bought in the Dollar Store in Canada). The cards are on their way and I am looking forward to playing again. Maybe I'll bolster it with some of the better cards.

So have some fun with "Oona," or Tink, as I call her. Second star to the right, straight on 'til morning! Don't forget to stop by, but remember:

Neverland

(never gonna grow up never gonna)

makes you

(GROW UP)

FORGET.

(not me)
