Ok, this is too funny not to post. I just played a modern tourny where game 1 against black white tokens my opponent had me to 1 life before I locked him out of the game completely. He scoops after he needs 18 mana to attack with one creature and then doesn't even play game 2 and gives up the round to me saying "I play magic to have fun. I'm not playing that again." I take 2-0 only playing one game.
I play second round against a friend of mine. He's playing vampire tribal. Game 1 I lock him out with sphere of safety and other enchantments and kill him with elspeth. Game 2 I lock him out but he holds hope that he can waste enough time and get a game 3 draw. I land elspeth and he scoops. Another 2-0.
Game 3 I'm going against red white prison. Another friend of mine. He doesn't get a fast enough land destruction draw and I start locking out the game. I get some tokens with elspeth before he double lightning helix it. I win the game swinging with 3 1/1. He concedes saying that it's a "stupid ass deck and if all you want is to win your prize go get your fucking packs. I'm not playing against it again. It's total bullshit." Funny because he's playing red white prison and I'm playing blue white prison. He scoops and i get another 2-0 only playing one game.
So the lesson of the story is this deck can win BIG in the right meta (combo and creature based decks. not as much control.) Also, if you like having friends don't play this deck. If there's someone you want to piss off then play this deck.
You should just play this deck.
