New slivers from 2014/2015 sets meets classic cards from Tempest that made Slivers the feared cards they are.

There are plenty of Slivers to pick from, however because I started back when the Queen came out many years ago (1996-1997), I still go for the lightning fast three or less CMC drop slivers. With the release of 2014 and 2015 core sets, this makes slivers even worse when added with Aluren and Recycle. Add in all the legendary slivers, Sliver Queen, Sliver Legion, Sliver Overlord and the new Sliver Hivelord and you get a group of legends that are feared anywhere on the board. Those are just the legendaries and the two key enchantments to this deck. So what makes this deck so fast? Look at the casting cost of all the slivers, most are 3 CMC or less and their abilities hinge off each other.Striking Sliver Galerider Sliver are not really staples, but hell, can't beat one drop flying first strike creatures can we? Predatory Sliver Manaweft Sliver Venom Sliver Sentinel Sliver Crystalline Sliver are your standard two CMC drops bringing +1/+1, mana production, deathtouch, Vigilance, and the old version of Shroud.Belligerent Sliver Blur Sliver and Syphon Sliver add in nearly unblockable, haste and lifelink. The only one I'm missing that would make this deck even better is Horned Sliver but it gives trample to ALL slivers and the price of the Groundshaker Sliver is FAR too high for my tastes.Bonescythe Sliver is by far my favorite sliver for its Double Strike ability and of course at the highest CMC you have Megantic Sliver which makes even a lowly 1/1 into a 4/4, especially if you have one of every sliver in play.

The lands are pretty self explainitory, Ancient Ziggurat and Sliver Hive provide everything you need alone to drop your slivers. Add in the scry lands for the choice of keep on top or drop it to the bottom for a land if needed or some other key card - Aluren.

Other cards to consider for this deck: Heartstone + Awakening + Sliver Queen = lots of tokens.Aluren + Recycle = all my slivers on the field. This combo came out in the Preconstructed set called "The Swarm" and I've played 'weenie' decks with the combo ever since. Add in Coat of Arms or Obelisk of Urd or Door of Destinies and your slivers just get gargantuan.
