I want this deck to be pure misery. The God-Pharaoh has returned to make my playgroup miserable.

Mechanically, this deck plays similarly to a lot of grixis mill decks, but focuses more on drawing cards, discarding hands, and interrupting opponents' draws. There is also a heavy story reliance in this deck, with all three of the insect gods, and others known to work with Bolas. The way this deck is intended to win is through outright control of the game, using cards like painful quandary and torment of hailfire to force your opponents into bad decisions while you continuously gain card advantage. Even when you discard you will have access to those cards again through cards like past in flames, when gearhulk and snapcaster coming in later additions. there are also a higher than usual number of basics in this deck, so that you can appropriately make use of blood moon and ruination, which can be complete hosers in EDH.

I've built this deck on somewhat of a budget, so the only pricey cards in it really are the cards that I have managed to open or trade for. That being said, there is no wheel of fortune or Jace the mind sculptor in here, although I know that they fit what the deck tries to do.
