Stranger Things inspired D&D Mind Flayer commander deck! I have been trying to find a suitable deck to play Mind Flayer, the Shadow in, and have created a mono black deck for that very purpose ( Stranger Things Mind Flaying! Mono Black. However, that deck felt to limiting and therefore I scoured the magical internet for a suitable commander for the flavor I was looking for and stumbled upon Nihiloor. With Nihiloor, I can create a deck that serves the same purposes as my previous unsuitable deck, while still delivering the same flavor of monstrous baddies all assembled in one deck to be the antithesis to my Stranger Things Party! WUBRG (5 Color) *Updated* deck--where I play all of the cards from the Stranger Things Secret Lair, except, of course, for Mind Flayer.

They way this deck is intended to win is by taking over my opponents creatures with cards like Nihiloor and Mind Flayer, the Shadow and to win by combat. However, I really want this deck to be flavorful to the aesthetic of the evil monsters of Stranger Things and D&D, so I include cards that would not be usual for a Nihiloor deck. Cards like The Book of Vile Darkness and the corresponding Vecna cards, as well as Elder Brain to name a few.
