Blue/White Heroes Deck that takes advantage of Battlefield Thaumaturge and Instatap spells to punch through damage.

There are a couple other good builds out there that vary a bit from what I'm doing:

Wizard's Aggro *100 likes! thanks! by THbruuu

Thaumatism 101 w/Professor Farnsworth (Retired) by Caligula

Let's talk interactions and strategies!

Battlefield Thaumaturge is the heart of this deck, providing the engine to keep buffing your heroic creatures and tap down your opposition to get damage through quickly. His heroic ability provides built in protection from your opponents kill spells, so it's easy to keep him on the board.

Glimpse the Sun God + Gridlock cost only one mana each with the Thaumaturge on the board, allowing you target every creature on the board. Cast these after declaring attackers for buffs and to shut down blockers.

Hidden Strings only costs one mana with Thaumaturge, but even at 1U is still a deal to get onto one of your heroic hitters. Casting it on Favored Hoplite on turn 2 turns your 1/2 into a 3/4 by the end of that turn, and it's untapped to boot! Getting to continue casting it every time you get damage in is virtual card advantage, which is huge in this deck.

Launch the Fleet again only costs one damage with Thaumaturge out. This is a great card against sacrifice decks (I'm looking at you Devour Flesh) looking to thin out your field and get around your Thaumaturge's hexproof).

Artisan of Forms is a utility creature with a couple of functions. It doubles as an additional Thaumaturge when necessary (reducing costs for Hour of Need , but primarily serves to reinforce whatever type of creatures you need or as a dupe of an opponent's big creature ( Stormbreath Dragon is a great target for this ability, especially if you already have +1/+1 counters on the Artisan.)

The sideboard strategy is fairly straight forward.

For control decks, Deicide and Gainsay go in to replace Gridlock and Glimpse the Sun God . This should help to deal with Detention Sphere and most of what the control decks have to throw at us.

For monster decks, Daxos of Meletis and Curse of the Swine go in to replace Fabled Hero and Bident of Thassa. This helps to get our damage in under the necks of Polukranos, World Eater and Stormbreath Dragon . Being able to cast those spells back at our opponent is a nice bonus, too.

This is probably our toughest match-up post board, due to Stormbreath's and Mistcutter Hydra's protection clauses and the use of Sylvan Caryatid for ramp. I'm looking for better ways to deal with this, so I would love additional suggestions.

Mirror matches will take advantage of Gainsay and Cyclonic Rift to keep our opponents creatures off the board and small when they do stick.

Updates Add

Good against most matchups. Getting owned by Burn and MBC.

I am strongly considering adding Red for Satyr Hoplite and Aurelia's Fury to speed things up and slow down those strategies.
