Why Niv-Mizzet

Niv-Mizzet fought against Nicol Bolas with Operation Desperation. Although Niv-Mizzet was not part of The Gatewatch, he worked with Ugin to fight against Nicol Bolas and protect Ravnica.

Niv-Mizzet Reborn would not have been revived during the War of the Spark if it wasn't for Nissa Revane. For this reason, Nissa, Steward of Elements will be a member of the Simic Guild Walkers.

Because Niv-Mizet is the "living guildpack" it seems fitting to use the guild gates as a win condition.
