Here is the sideboard explained, because I like to do that:

Flashfreeze is a substitute for Negate or Mana Leak vs red or green, depending on the matchup.

Ghost Quarter is for stopping Cavern of Souls and Inkmoth Nexus.

Surgical Extraction is for cutting out uncounterable stuff.

Tribute to Hunger is to deal with hexproof creatures, and specifically Thrun, the Last Troll.
