Maybeboard

Planeswalker (1)

This deck is focused on racing to the win. This means very little defensive cards with a ton of ramp and draw. I chose to stay away from one-card wins like Genesis Wave and Insurrection as well as extra turn cards like Time Stretch and Time Warp. These cards are easily broken with Riku of Two Reflections and were not very fun to play with and not at all fun to play against. Even though this deck doesn't take infinite turns or copy infinite spells (Reiterate + Turnabout) it should not be underestimated. Allow Riku to stay out long enough and you may just be facing Tidal Force x23 after a Doubling Season and a copied & kicked Rite of Replication. To pull these kinds of turns off Riku needs a TON of land, and this deck has it.

Burgeoning and Exploration help to drop multiple lands per turn; the standard green "must runs" like Skyshroud Claim and Explosive Vegetation; cards that make those lands tap for 6 like Mana Reflection, Zhur-Taa Ancient , and Mana Flare; and finally cards that triple (with a Riku copy) all of that Turnabout and Rude Awakening get my mana pool to beyond absurd heights.

All this land excel calls for a heavy basic land base making exceptions only for utility lands like Homeward Path , Thespian's Stage and High Market, and lands that fix / work really well with Mana Reflection like Fire-Lit Thicket and Izzet Boilerworks . Of course you can't run Seedborn Muse and Prophet of Kruphix properly without Alchemist's Refuge and Winding Canyons.

What can you do with all this mana? Tooth and Nail copied pulls 4 creatures out of the deck onto the board and then Riku makes copies of all of them, for 19 mana. Get your Sneak Attack and/or Temur Ascendancy and play and copy every creature in your hand, hopefully the deck, with haste for the kill.

With all this explosive power your meta will likely try to kill you very quickly. Some defensive spells are required for those times when you can't get your copied Utvara Hellkite onto the board quick enough. Spike Weaver is everyone's favorite fogger and it also counters death to Insurrection. Curse of the Swine and Ixidron get rid of those pesky Avacyn, Angel of Hope's that will forever plague EDH. Warstorm Surge can be great defensively as well as a win condition. Bribery and Knowledge Exploitation work both defensively and offensively. Pull someones Decree of Pain and someones Praetor's Counsel from their decks and now you have a clean board with a ton of cards, Bribery copied can pull some fun things like Blazing Archon and Avacyn, Angel of Hope or someones Ashen Rider and Deadeye Navigator.

This deck also packs a bunch of different win conditions, other then the standard beaters and tokens with Craterhoof Behemoth. Copy a Psychosis Crawler and draw a bunch of cards with Soul's Majesty or Regal Force. Tempt with Vengeance with a Parallel Lives. Or my personal favorite: copy a Soulblast to take down the remaining 2 opponents.

Overall this deck has a high risk high reward attitude. A lot of times it feels like I am the archenemy and other times I will draw a slower hand and everyone will take advantage of the first 5 turns to clear the Riku threat early. The hate is well deserved.
