This is a MBC/Devotion Pauper EDH deck helmed by Gray Merchant of Asphodel. The game plan is simple: use various removal and hand disruption spells to stay ahead of your opponent, play and maintain a board presence of creatures to build up your devotion to black, chip away at your opponent's life total, and finish them off with Gray Merchant of Asphodel when their life is low enough. In addition to this, this deck has a suite of card draw to help keep the engine running, a few cards with transmute to help tutor for whatever you may need in a given situation, and a bit of recursion should you need to bring back one of your threats.
