Who doesn't like Planeswalker's? I wanted to make a Superfriends deck in standard cause ya know, they are pretty darn good. Who knew?! Games can swing very quickly when you're killing stuff, and playing some oaths then start slamming down a PW every turn, or a turn early Combustible Gearhulk off of Chandra, Torch of Defiance which is pretty awesome. Her +'s really help the deck either hit cards or start chipping away life, the minus is also very good for letting us do multiple things a turn once she's on board. Her minus is a good insurance if something sticks on the opponents board, and her ultimate can end games very quickly. Combustible Gearhulk is one of my new favorite pieces of cardboard. Either getting 3 cards or, most of the time, doing a good amount of dmg. The new additions to the deck have been very good. Gideon of the Trials is amazing. Being able to shut a threat down completely while still being able to add pressure when you need it is awesome. Not to the mention the ultimate is kinda stupid especially since Gideon, Ally of Zendikar didn't get banned, he adds blockers and pressure, plus his "ultimate" can make a big difference when we have an army of zombies and knights; strange combo I know .. Liliana, the Last Hope has been great. The +1 can suppress a hitter and the minus lets us get Combustible Gearhulk back. Her ultimate is kind of relevant in the deck, having
Oath of Liliana
in the 75 adds a lot of board presence and means if you can ultimate Lili, you're going to have an army of zombies to crew up
Heart of Kiran
, which has been awesome in the list, basically a 4/4 flyer for 2. Ob Nixilis Reignited keeps climbing in the ranks of the deck, card draw and removal are the calling cards of a good PW he has surprised me. Sorin, Grim Nemesis has been a lot better than I thought he would be. His + will miss at times but even if it hits a land you're still basically getting card draw with the possibility of doing some free dmg. His minus is nice to relieve some pressure and adds some health which is always helpful in control decks. The ultimate is weird imo. Yea you get 10-20 1/1's which is awesome, but Yahenni's Expertise can just leave you crying on the floor of your LGS. He has been very good for me though. For the removal side of things the deck has some pretty nice options. Fatal Push is stupid, always play it. Anguished Unmaking is the answers to opposing PW's or whatever wonky thing your playing against that traditional removal can't touch. added some Unlicensed Disintegration and it's been very good. Kill spell and lightning bolt in the same card?! And last but not least,
Oath of Liliana
. Basically a sorcery speed To the Slaughter, but with the number of Walkers in the deck the oath can fill up the board quick not only adding defenders for said Walkers, but adding crewable cards to start swinging with
Heart of Kiran
without having to pay Loyalty, plus it means we can easily refill the board after sweeping. Fumigate is nice, doesn't affect us that much since most of the threats are PW's or tokens that we can get back easy, and it negate the negative side of Anguished Unmaking. Oath really over perform's in this list, as does
Oath of Chandra
. The 3 early damage can take of a Winding Constrictor or most other early threats. And her triggered ability helps with opposing PW's so we can save Anguished Unmaking for a real threat. Anyways I sincerely hope you enjoy the deck, it's a blast to play, and I'd love to hear any suggestions on mb, SB or anything else!! Also the SB is all hate for the meta I see at my lgs (:
