Obzedat, Ghost Council is one of the earlier EDH builds I ran, and I have rebuilt it over the years as various sets print cards that work perfectly with the aristrocrats/life gain theme. It uses lifegain as the main wincon, but also has the typical amount of spot removal and control found in white/black.
