Creature (1)

Congratulations!

Today is your day!

You're off to great places!

You're off and away!

You have wheels in your hand.

You have cascade triggers in your creatures.

You can wheel yourself

any direction you choose!

You're on your own at the table. And you know what you want to play.

And YOU are the ogre wizard who'll decide what hands to keep.

You'll look up and down at your spells. Look 'em over with care.

About some you will say, "I don't choose to cast that."

With your hand full of wheels and your creatures full of cascade triggers,

you're too smart to cast any not-so-good spell.

And you may not find any.

You'll want to cascade into a wheel.

In that case, of course,

you'll cascade straight on top of a wheel.

It's opener there

in the second hand you've drawn.

In the second hand you've drawn things can happen

and frequently do

to people as wheely

and cascady as you.

And when things start to get discarded,

don't worry. Don't stew.

Just wheel right along.

You'll start cascading too.

OGRE!

THE PLACES YOU'LL GO!

You'll be on your third cascade trigger!

You'll be seeing great spells!

You'll join the high wizards

who cast without paying their mana costs.

You won't lag behind, because you'll have double cascade triggers.

You'll pass the whole table and you'll soon take the lead.

Wherever you cascade, you'll be the best of the best.

Wherever you wheel you hand will top all the rest.

...

Except when you don't.

Because, sometimes, you won't.

I'm sorry to say so

but, sadly, it's true

that bad hands

and commander tax

can happen to you.

You can get all hung up

in a prickle-ly perch.

And your table will have fine hands.

You'll be left with a bad hand.

You'll cast a cascade trigger

with an unpleasant reveal.

And the chances are, then,

that you'll have a bad hand still.

And when you have a bad hand,

you're not in for much fun.

un-badding yourself

is not easily done.

You can get so confused

that you'll start to wheel

down long and wiggled hands at a break-necking pace

and wheel on for miles across weirdish and bad hands

headed, I fear, toward a most useless hand...

The useless hand...

...for players just waiting.

Waiting for a creature to cast

or a socery to cast, or an instant to cast

or an enchantment to cast or an artifact to cast

or waiting around for a yes or no

or waiting for their hair to grow.

Everyone is just waiting...

NO!

That's not for YIDRIS!

Somehow you'll escape

all that waiting and staying.

You'll find the right hands

where the WIN MORE SPELLS are sitting.

With cascade trigger cascade trigger

once more you'll ride high!

Ready for anything hitting the table

Ready because you're that kind of OGRE!

OGRE, the places you'll go! There is cascading to be done!

There are life points to be killed. There are EDH games to be won.

And the magical things you can do with those wheels

will make you the winning-est winner of all.

FAME! You'll be famous as famous can be,

with the everyone at the table watching you wheel through your deck.

Except when they don't.

Because, sometimes, they cast a counter.

I'm afraid that some times

you'll play boring games too.

Games you can't win.

'cause you'll have your spells countered against you.

ALL COUNTERED!

Whether you like it or not,

Getting countered will be something

you'll be responded to a lot.

And when you're countered, there's a very good chance

you'll meet things that make you flip the whole table.

There are some counters, down the road between hither and yon,

that can make you so angry that you will scoop on the spot.

But you will play

though the opponents be foul.

On you will cascade

though your enemies prowl.

On you will wheel

though the opponents howl.

Onward up after many wheels

a frightening board state,

though your hands may get sore

and your sleeves may tear.

On and on you will wheel

and I know you'll cascade too

and face up to your opponents

whatever they play.

And will you succeed?

YES! You will, indeed!

(98 and 3/4th percent guaranteed.)

KID, YOU'LL CASCADE INTO MOUNTAINS!

So...

be your name Yidris or Shard Agent or Psychosis Crawler

or Jace's Archivist or Maelstorm Wanderer,

you're off to great places!

Today is your day!

Your EDH game is waiting.

So Yidris... cascade on your way!

This is currently a deck in progress. I could use some help optimizing it. I would like it to be a Cascade and Wheel deck. Any suggestions welcome!
