Maybeboard

I wanted to build a more competitive deck with lots of interactions and I generally prefer creature based decks so I decided to go with Animar. Who doesn't like casting creatures on the cheap right?

The obvious choice with Animar is lots of creatures with ETBs, for removal, bounce, control etc.

For the most part your goal is to get Animar out as soon as you can though waiting a turn or two to gather some sort of protection for him isn't out of the question. Then start building up his counters hoping to tutor or draw into an decent draw engine so you can keep bouncing and recasting your creatures. Once its gets going it can be hard to stop. I tried to focus on the more useful creatures with ETBs that had flash in case I need to cast them at instant speed and morph creatures as well since the can be cast for free with 3 counters on Animar.
