Hi, so this is my version of Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest. I set out to make it a balance of spell slinging and voltron, overall the deck has had pretty good results. Lets talk about strategy:

The number one strategy

In this deck, spells matter. The more you cast the better, so we have the following for infinite cast triggers:

1. Dramatic Reversal + Isochron Scepter

2. Isochron Scepter + Paradox Engine (requires one of the numerous 2 CMC instants and a 2 mana rock)

3. Reiterate + Turnabout (requires enough mana rocks or lands to untap and recast Reiterate)

4. Mystic Speculation + Paradox Engine (requires 3+ mana rocks)

We also have the not so infinite Paradox Engine + Sunforger package that generally ends in a win via Commander damage Fatal Frenzy or by drawing a good portion of your deck via Vanish into Memory.

So spells matter here and lets look at why:

1. First, prowess. Allows for Shu Yun to become pumped by each spell cast enabling huge swings or fatal damage from Chandra's Ignition.

2. Second we have Monastery Mentor and Metallurgic Summonings for a large army of tokens which is very useful vs Grave Pact effects and if going infinite Final Fortune enables the win.

3. Lastly, we have Aetherflux Reservoir because, why not?

Miscellaneous synergies:

1. Mixed into the bunch we have some control options such as Isochron Scepter and either Abeyance or Orim's Chant, both are pretty fun with Paradox Engine.

2. Proteus Staff allows you to find Monastery Mentor or stack your deck if he is no longer in it.

3. Aggravated Assault + Sword of Feast and Famine allows for infinite combat steps assuming you can connect.
