This Commander deck, led by Ojutai, Soul of Winter , aims to control the board in the early game, then keep my advantage in the late game through controlling effects and keeping opposing creatures tapped down with the abilities of Ojutai and similar creatures.

Along with Ojutai himself, this deck has a number of effects that tap down creatures, such as Icy Blast , Frost Breath , Blinding Beam , and Frost Titan. The deck also contains a bunch of other controlling spells like Day of Judgment and Detention Sphere.

Toward the top end of my mana curve, I try to win the game with large flying creatures. With Stormtide Leviathan in play, most opposing creatures will be left helpless while Ojutai and his flying friends can attack with relative impunity.

I also have a few cards that care about tapped creatures, such as Sunblast Angel and Tamiyo, the Moon Sage .

Finally, while blue and white are the two enemies of the color most dragons call home, I've managed to find a few to put in the deck, which also benefit from Ojutai's ability, such as Steel Hellkite and Phantasmal Dragon . I've also included a Runed Stalactite and Xenograft to make my other creatures into dragons.
