The principle of this deck works similar to the pedestrian mono-black devotional deck but has a shenanigan or two built in. As devotion is built enough to make the big 5 drop with everyone's favorite buddy Gray Merchant of Asphodel , drop him again for x devotion + 2 via Twinflame .

We take card draw from the usual suspects Underworld Connections and Erebos, God of the Dead and of course we get some much needed lifegain from Whip of Erebos. I took two Whip of Erebos because of the additional chance of being able to bring Gary back and because if for whatever reason I draw too many I can probably use it for Pack Rat.

Went 2-2 at FML; the games I lost were very close .Twinflame was pretty effective. Getting big swings or double gary drops.

Took out Master of the Feast x4 for Nightveil Specter, as much as I want to try to make MotF work it just doesn't end the game fast enough and the opponent usually draws his outs... Oh well.

Also changed up the sideboard and took out Erebos, God of the Dead x2 for Lifebane Zombie x2 and threw Erebos on the sideboard. As much as I can make him a creature the 4 drops are a little too critical to not have an actual creature on the board.
